🚀 Four researchers of our group are starting projects funded by the “Progetti di Ricerca Giovani” (“Young Research Projects”) program of INdAM-GNCS, the National Group of Scientific Computing within Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica "Francesco Severi". 🧠 Pasquale Claudio Africa will coordinate “Metodi computazionali avanzati per sistemi complessi: approcci ibridi numerici e machine learning” (“Advanced Computational Methods for Complex Systems: Hybrid Numerical and Machine Learning Approaches”), with researchers from our group, Università Ca'​ Foscari Venezia, and CNR-IMATI. 🌀 Antonio Colanera‘s project is named “Manifold Learning e Modelli di Ordine Ridotto Data-Driven per Flussi Turbolenti e Caotici” (“Manifold Learning and Data-Driven Reduced Order Models for Chaotic Turbulent Flows”), involving also Politecnico di Torino and Scuola Superiore Meridionale. 🤖 Federico Pichi will lead “Machine learning scientifico dai modelli surrogati al controllo ottimo” (“Scientific Machine Learning from Surrogate Models to Optimal Control”), in collaboration with MOX Laboratory and Università degli Studi di Pavia. ⚙️ Niccolò Tonicello will supervise “Integrazione di simulazione fisica e dinamiche multi-agente per sistemi complessi” (“Integration of Physical Simulation and Multi-Agent Dynamics for Complex Systems”), which will also involve Sapienza Università di Roma. #SISSA #mathLab #GNCS #MathematicalModeling #ScientificComputing #ScientificMachineLearning #DataDrivenModeling #SurrogateModeling
