The Fear of 13 opening night was truly special, one of those evenings that stays with you. I was completely absorbed by the story of Nick Yarris: powerful, emotional, and deeply human. It’s the kind of piece that reminds you why theatre matters. Adrien Brody and Tessa Thompson were extraordinary. There’s something quite remarkable about seeing two film actors of that caliber step onto a Broadway stage for the first time with such presence, vulnerability, and control. Under David Cromer’s direction, it all felt incredibly precise and moving, the storytelling just lands. The reviews really speak to it: “Adrien Brody is electric in this extraordinary, real-life story.” The New York Times “Adrien Brody’s Broadway debut brings the intensity and vulnerability of his best film performances.” Deadline “Adrien Brody and Tessa Thompson soar.” Variety “Tessa Thompson is compelling… she feels like a veteran.” New York Magazine “David Cromer is this theater season’s best director.” The Wrap “Deeply moving… their chemistry is magnetic.” Variety “This season’s best.” The Wrap It was a beautiful night all around, ending with a lovely celebration at The Grill. A limited engagement, and very much worth seeing. Tickets: https://lnkd.in/e7wE98ED #Broadway #Fearof13Broadway #InnocenceProject #AdrienBrody #TessaThompson #DavidCromer
