At the Joint Office of Academic Medicine (JOAM), the team supports connections between #SingHealth and Duke-NUS Medical School to shape the future of #AcademicMedicine, enabling collaboration in research, education and innovation to improve patient care. Their work isn't easy to put in a box (and honestly, that's what makes it exciting!). One day it's running a grant call that encourages clinician-researchers to connect with the right collaborators in the laboratory. The next, it's providing grant support to turn a bold idea into a programme that changes how patients experience care. JOAM supports programmes that bridge worlds — the lab and the ward, the classroom and the clinic, the vision and the reality. We have some of the best minds in medicine, research and innovation in our Academic Medical Centre. JOAM helps support the infrastructure, partnerships and resources so they can do their best work.
