Some values are taught not through words, but through the way a person lives. For the late Madam Siow Fung Wai Ying, generosity was one of those values. It shaped the choices she made, the people she cared for, and the legacy she left behind. Even after her passing, her family found themselves reflecting on a final lesson she entrusted to them: how giving can bring people together and create impact beyond ourselves. Today, that spirit lives on at SUSS through gifts made in honour of her late mother-in-law, Lau Wai Lan, and her late husband, Vincent Siow Mun Chan, supporting opportunities for learning, research, and social good.
