During his visit to SUSS, SM Lee Hsien Loong spoke with our students about what it takes to keep learning while navigating work, family, and other commitments. For many, learning does not happen in spare time. It happens after work, between responsibilities, and alongside everyday demands. Our students come from different industries and life stages. Some are early in their journeys, others further along, each with their own reasons for being here. In that mix, they shape discussions, challenge perspectives, and ground learning in real-world contexts. Their experiences, constraints, and decision to keep going are central to what learning becomes here. We take this opportunity to put a spotlight on our students and celebrate the tenacity and resilience they show every day.
