Career paths are rarely linear, and sometimes the most meaningful journeys begin with the courage to change direction. For SUSS alumnus Tan Jun Wei, that journey has taken him from engineering to social work, and now into nursing after completing the Graduate Diploma in Gerontology. Driven by a desire to make a greater impact in the lives of others, Jun Wei continually embraced new opportunities to learn, grow, and serve. Rather than allowing academic results to define his future, he chose to focus on developing the knowledge, skills, and purpose needed to contribute meaningfully to society. His story is a reminder that meaningful work is not always about following a predetermined path, but having the courage to pursue one that aligns with your values and purpose.
