Earth Day is often marked as a moment. But the real work happens in what comes after. At SUSS, sustainability is taking shape through everyday actions led by students, giving new life to old clothes, sharing sustainable practices with the community, and encouraging better recycling habits. These efforts reflect a broader push to build sustainable habits and scale participation across campus and beyond. And the work continues. In the coming months, students will engage the public at the Sustainability Youth Festival and facilitate workshops for international exchange students, extending these efforts into new communities and contexts. Because sustainability is not just about awareness. It’s about what we choose to do, consistently.
