While it is common for students to enjoy their trimester break, students from the SIT Community Service Club took the challenge to reorganise the community library located within Café Kawan - an informal gathering space managed by the Community for Successful Ageing, an initiative by the Tsao Foundation. Our SITizens developed a book placement system to help older readers access different sections, genres, languages, and titles. Today, older patrons of Café Kawan can enjoy the fruits of Geralyn Kwek and her team’s labours while browsing through hundreds of books in a tidily-arrayed library. https://bit.ly/3nGqJ69 #groundedinthecommunity
