#Singapore is “strategically valuable” for Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) as it’s one of the few places where “industry, government and education work seamlessly together”, says CEO Chris Pattinson. To further strengthen Singapore’s #aerospace MRO talent pipeline, SAESL has signed two MOUs to: ⚪ Boost its in-house technical capabilities by training more than 1,000 new employees over the next five years under a new training academy. ⚪ Partner with Singapore Polytechnic (SP) to provide students with real-world industry exposure to aerospace MRO. SP’s School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering will also be accredited as an authorised training partner for SAESL. Hear from Chris on how SAESL is developing digitally savvy, industry-ready talent to support its growth in the region. The global leader in engine overhaul and component repair services has invested S$242m in expanding its capacity in Singapore, which will become the world’s largest #MRO facility for Rolls-Royce’s latest-generation engines.
