Therme Singapore is bringing Asia's first large-scale integrated urban wellbeing destination to Singapore — the first step in its expansion across Asia. The Austrian developer and operator of wellbeing destinations broke ground today on Therme Singapore at Marina South, next to Gardens by the Bay and Marina Barrage. Expected to open in 2030, the destination will welcome approximately 2 million visitors annually. Beyond strengthening Singapore’s tourism and lifestyle offerings, Therme Group will establish its Asia-Pacific regional headquarters here, to drive and scale its network of wellbeing destinations across the region and beyond. The RHQ will support project development, operations, and partnerships, leveraging Singapore’s connectivity, talent, and ecosystem to enable long-term growth. The project will create around 400 jobs spanning #engineering, facilities management, operations and specialised wellness roles such as sauna masters, or aufgussmeisters. To develop #talent, the company also signed an MoU with Institute of Technical Education and Republic Polytechnic to provide skills development, internships, and structured employment pathways for graduates. As global demand for innovative wellbeing solutions continues to grow, discover why Therme selected #Singapore as the flagship destination to showcase its next-generation wellbeing infrastructure: https://lnkd.in/eNsdUiKu Lim Chong Lai | Marcus Dass | Boon Khai Tan | Robert Hanea | Grace Fu | Mah Bow Tan | Jean Ng | Angelene Chan
