The Singapore Airlines Foundation remains committed to inspiring and supporting the next generation of aviation talent through the Youth Uplift Programme. On 16 April 2026, we hosted our inaugural fireside chat and second self-development workshop, bringing our student beneficiaries together to learn, connect, and grow in confidence. A key highlight was our first collaboration with MoneyOwl, Temasek Trust’s social enterprise. Through a practical financial literacy workshop, students picked up essential skills for building healthy money habits, growing their investment knowledge, and planning for the future. During the fireside chat, Mr Tan Kai Ping, Chairman of The Singapore Airlines Foundation, shared lessons from his 30-year journey with SIA. He offered candid perspectives on the different career pathways, building resilience, and staying open-minded when taking on new challenges. He left students with a simple but powerful reminder: “Find your path and chase your dreams.” We look forward to growing this series - broadening perspectives, strengthening capabilities, and supporting more youths as they pursue their aspirations in aviation.
