For many supporters of Sinai Health, giving back is shaped by personal experience and becomes a way to support others navigating similar moments of care. This National Volunteer Week, Sinai Health Foundation is recognizing four volunteers who have translated that connection into leadership through unique initiatives and experiences that bring people together to support transformative care. Rebecca Risen and Zack Belzberg, a member of Sinai Health Foundation’s Board, have rallied their community for a one-of-a-kind house party. The Residency aims to support families navigating high-risk pregnancies and admissions in the Newton Glassman Charitable Foundation Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Mount Sinai Hospital. Janet Bomza, LL.B., ICD.D and Alex Bronfman, who are also members of the Foundation Board, launched a unique fundraising and wellness experience called The Women's Classic. This golf tournament supports Weston and O’Born Centre for Mature Women’s Health — helping address long-standing gaps in care for women at every stage of life. Thank you. We’re grateful for your leadership and commitment towards strengthening care for patients and families at Sinai Health. #PowerOfCommunity #SupportSinaiHealth #NationalVolunteerWeek #LifeChangingCare #CommunityImpact
