It’s not just chocolate that connects us - it’s the continuous improvement mindset Recently, we had the opportunity to visit one of our strategic customers, Mondelez Skarbimierz, for a benchmarking session. From the very first moment, it was clear that what was originally planned as an exchange of best practices would turn an experience that stays with us. We began with a workshop directly on the shop floor, where mixed teams from Barry Callebaut and Mondelez worked together on real case. Continuous improvement culture was visible at every step – people naturally looked at processes through the lens of “what can be improved,” openly shared their perspectives, and spoke a common language using the words such root cause, standard, centerlining, problem solving, KAIZEN, etc. A particularly meaningful moment for me was reconnecting with the technical skills trainer Jarosław Michalak who guided my own technical trainings years ago. Seeing that he continues to develop people today with the same energy, passion, and professionalism was a powerful moment. It reminded me that long‑term excellence is never accidental – it is the result of consistent leadership and systematic investment in people. This visit reaffirmed that the most advanced Continuous Improvement systems are built on people, not tools. Organizations that invest in developing the capabilities of their teams are the ones shaping their future competitiveness. Thank you for this memorable visit and for a partnership grounded in shared values and a strong ambition to become better day by day. We look forward to future interactions that will continue to move us forward across all areas of our businesses.
