The U.S. has 9 months before cyber capable AI goes mainstream, and OpenAI plans to prepare the government first 🦾 During #theCUBE’s coverage from #AWSSummit DC, our host, Gemma Allen, speaks with Garrett Berntsen, Chief AI Officer at Accenture Federal Services, & Felipe Millon, Head of Government & Go to Market at OpenAI, about Daybreak, a trusted access program providing federal, state, local government agencies and critical infrastructure operators exclusive access to GPT-5.5. “We strongly believe in the cyber capabilities of these models. We have a model with a trusted access program called Daybreak. That is our GPT-5.5 cyber model. We have a cyber version of a model. We do not make it generally available, the average user cannot access, but we are making it available to trusted red teamers, specifically within government and at large institutions like financial institutions, so that they can use this technology to do pentesting of red teaming on their own systems,” Millon shares. “The U.S. AI labs, we've been able to develop these models. There is an open way ecosystem, mostly out of China, they are nine months to a year behind us. This technology will become available.
