How Apptronik’s robotics labs are solving the data bottleneck with Robot Park 🤖 In this #MACHINA Summit 2026 discussion (sponsored by Path Robotics), #theCUBE’s John Furrier speaks with Jeff Cardenas, CEO of Apptronik, about how the most forward-thinking robotics labs are combining three data sources through Robot Park: real robot teleoperation, human video data and synthetic data. “There are three types of data that roboticists care about. There are different ways of getting the data off the robot. Teleoperation is the one that you hear the most conversations about. We just announced the creation of our data factory, which we call Robot Park. We're doing lots of data collection across different modalities. So, you have data off the robot. You can also get data off of humans. The holy grail there is just video data. We can collect data from videos. That's amazing. Real world people, humans working,” Cardenas shares. “There's also sensorizing humans, so in each of these, data off the robot, data off of humans, then there's synthetic data, there's different approaches in each one of those where you're going to see data being collected. I think the most forward thinking labs are looking at a combination of those different data sources with a lot of excitement about synthetic data, and we're hearing more and more talk about world models. We're looking across the spectrum.
