Successful project completion and strong recognition for European innovation. 👏 SAL recently joined the final General Assembly of the Listen2Future project, where partners came together to review achievements and celebrate the successful conclusion of this Horizon Europe initiative. At SAL, Tingzhong Xu, Rodrigo Tumolin Rocha, Jiapeng Xu and Humberto Campanella developed piezoelectric micromachined ultrasound transducer (PMUT) technology entirely in-house – from design and fabrication to device realization. The resulting PMUT array chips support industrial non-destructive testing and medical imaging applications and were delivered to consortium partners for further testing and use-case development. The project received highly positive feedback from reviewers of the Chips Joint Undertaking and the European Commission, highlighting the consortium's outstanding collaboration, coordination and technical achievements.
