We were honored to welcome Dan Alsaker (Idaho '72) to the Levere Memorial Temple this week. Dan will soon serve as the 7th Chair of the SAE Foundation and brings a lifetime of leadership and service to the role. A recipient of the Distinguished Service Award, the highest honor a brother can receive from the Fraternity, Dan has spent decades helping strengthen SAE. Reflecting on his visit yesterday, Dan shared that his experience was about "living and understanding the structure of the Foundation's work" and seeing how SAE continues to create "a practical pathway for future undergrad generations to learn and live the basic tenants of the True Gentleman." But in true Dan fashion, he then summed it all up much more simply: "It all distills into my mindset of, 'being present.'
