Men of Minerva: Bobby Jones (Georgia Tech ’21) As The Masters Tournament begins this week, it is fitting to recognize Bobby Jones, one of the most influential figures in golf history and cofounder of the event. Jones was not only one of the greatest amateur golfers of all time, but also a leader known for his integrity, humility, and commitment to excellence. After achieving historic success in the sport, he chose to step away from competitive golf at a young age and focus on his professional career and the development of the game itself.
