Yesterday at WindEurope in Madrid, our stand (9-C61) turned into a lively meeting spot during our informal drinks gathering starting at 16:30. Consultants like Rystad Energy, suppliers, and our valued clients joined us for drinks and snacks. One theme stood out across conversations: strong alignment around our message 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙄𝙨 𝙉𝙤𝙬. There’s a clear, shared urgency to accelerate the energy transition, and a real understanding that collaboration across the value chain is essential to make it happen. As our CEO Fred Van Beers puts it: “The conversations confirm a challenging market, but we are having positive discussions about the future.” A similair message is echoed throughout the WindEurope exhibition itself. As highlighted across the venue, it’s clear that strengthening Europe’s wind energy sector is central to the conversation. The newly launched Madrid Call to Action by WindEurope reinforces the urgency, calling for faster permitting, stronger auctions, and accelerated grid development to make homegrown electricity more affordable and accessible across Europe. We’re continuing at our stand today, and from 16:30 onwards we’ll be hosting our drinks gathering again. We’d love to welcome you, whether we’ve met before or not.
