In the 1990s, cloud didn’t exist. But the idea did. Customers, connected by phone lines, paid only for what they used. Timesharing, PCs, mobile, cloud… Data and compute that’s centralized, decentralized, then re-centralized again… Tech cycles continue and the pendulum still swings. One thing that won’t change -- software should be available when you need it, scalable, and accessible without massive upfront investment.
