We have successfully installed the first turbine at Thor Offshore Wind Farm in Denmark. Delivered in close partnership with RWE , this achievement reflects strong collaboration across the value chain, from turbine manufacturing and offshore installation to grid connection. With the grid infrastructure provided by Siemens Energy, this project is a true example of #TeamPurple in action. Each first installation represents months of preparation, engineering excellence and precise execution at sea. It is a visible step forward for Thor and for Denmark’s renewable energy ambitions, contributing to a more secure and sustainable energy system in Europe. Thor will become the first offshore wind farm to deploy both RecyclableBlades and GreenTowers within the same project, with further milestones to follow as installation progresses.
