We're pleased to support the financial close of Fidra Energy's West Burton C battery energy storage project in Nottinghamshire, UK. Through Siemens Bank, we joined a club of international lenders providing debt facilities for the 500MW / 1.1GWh project. Designed to support grid flexibility, renewable energy integration and energy resilience, the project will be capable of supplying electricity to around 300,000 homes during periods of peak demand once operational. As demand for #BESS continues to grow, #financing remains essential to enabling the #infrastructure needed for a more sustainable and resilient energy system. Tony Julius
