The ELYgator is officially out in the wild. 🐊⚡ What sounds like a reptile is actually a 200 MW flagship PEM electrolyzer project by Air Liquide in Rotterdam that will produce around 23,000 tonnes of renewable hydrogen per year and help avoid up to 300,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, supporting the decarbonization of industry and heavy mobility. Seeing the first electrolyzer arrays arrive and be positioned on site is one of those moments that makes the energy transition feel very real. Big respect to everyone moving this project forward, on site and behind the scenes. What do you think will be the biggest accelerator for large-scale hydrogen next: infrastructure, permitting, demand, or financing?
