Looking back at this year’s Sporthandelskongress (SPOKO) in Cologne, it once again reminded me why it’s such a fixed point in our year at OUTTRA – and why I personally never want to miss it. It always feels a bit like a class reunion: familiar faces from across the industry, good conversations, a few new ones as well – and simply the chance to come together, catch up, and talk about where we all stand. In times where in-person gatherings have become a bit rarer, I appreciate that more than ever. What I always take away from SPOKO – alongside the personal exchange – are the impulses from the stage: fresh perspectives, thought-provoking ideas, sometimes from inside the industry, sometimes from outside. And often exactly the kind of input that doesn’t usually find its way into the day-to-day. This year, the setting at the Deutsches Sport und Olympia Museum really added to the atmosphere. It was just a great environment to spend time together and get into the right kind of conversations. We’ve been part of SPOKO as Presenting Partner for several years now – and the partnership with Ebner Media Group GmbH & Co. KG and SAZsport means a lot to us. It’s one we really value and look forward to continuing.
