"Gen Z thinks differently." We hear this statement all the time. Today, I didn't just hear it—I witnessed it. As our #PGDM 2026–28 batch at JIMS Kalkaji stepped onto the stage for their very first #CapstoneProject, I wasn't just watching presentations. I was watching ideas come alive. Just a few days into their management journey, these young minds challenged assumptions, questioned the obvious, and presented solutions with a confidence that reflected the spirit of this generation. It was refreshing, thought-provoking, and a reminder that the future belongs to those who dare to think differently. What made the experience even more meaningful was the presence of our esteemed judges—Mr. HEMANT B. Mr. Rahul Sachdeva, Mr. Shwayatank Ajay (representing our alumni), and Prof. Dr. Neelam Tandon . Their insightful questions, encouraging feedback, and appreciation for the students' efforts turned this into much more than a competition—it became a true learning experience. One thought shared by Mr. Hemant Bhalla particularly stayed with all of us: CQ + PQ > IQ #Curiosity Quotient + #Passion Quotient is greater than #Intelligence Quotient. In a world where information is available at our fingertips, it is curiosity that drives exploration and passion that fuels perseverance. Intelligence alone is no longer enough. Personally, moments like these remind me why I chose to be part of academia. Every interaction with this generation teaches me something new. Their perspectives challenge mine, their questions push boundaries, and their enthusiasm reminds me that learning is never one-sided. As educators, we shape young minds—but they shape us too. Here's to many more conversations, ideas, and moments of learning together.
