There is an association that promotes women's careers in the pipelines and plants industry, valuing their contributions and successes. And this year, there's a great and wonderful piece of news that involves us! Women in Pipe (WIP) has launched the WIP Awards, an international initiative created to strengthen and elevate the role of women across our sector — recognising the companies and professionals who are actively shaping its future. So, here’s the big news… Silvia Migliorati, Environmental & Sustainability Manager, and Elisa Di Mauro, Project Engineer at SICIM, are among the finalists at the Women in Pipe Awards 2026 in the following categories: Silvia Migliorati – Industry Ambassador Elisa Di Mauro – Next Generation The award ceremony will take place on June 18 in Paris, the day after the IPLOCA Regional Meeting.
