Mansplaining isn’t just annoying—it’s a leadership red flag. In a meeting yesterday, I watched two male colleagues repeatedly jump in to “explain” things on behalf of the client—a highly accomplished woman leader—without letting her finish a sentence. They interrupted, rephrased her points, and answered questions directed at her… as if she needed translation. She didn’t. What stood out wasn’t just the behavior, but the lack of awareness. This isn’t confidence or collaboration—it signals poor listening, fragile authority, and an inability to share space. In client-facing environments, it also undermines trust and credibility instantly. Strong leaders don’t speak over others. They create room, especially when it matters. If you’re leading a meeting, check this: are you adding value, or just adding noise? ##mansplaining, #manterrupting, #microaggressions, #makeitstop, #microaggressions, #notallmen #women
