Principal Data Engineer @ Microsoft CoreAI | ex-Amazon | Data Engineering

Excited to share that I have started a new chapter as a Principal Data Engineer at Microsoft CoreAI. After nine years at Amazon, the decision to make this move came down to one thing: I wanted to work closer to the heart of where AI is actually being built. The last few years have made one thing clear to me. AI is not just changing what we build. It is changing how we build it, how we measure it, and how organizations are structured around it. And underneath all of that sit the data systems; the unglamorous, foundational layer that decides whether any of this works at scale or quietly falls apart. That layer is being completely rethought right now. Trust, governance, reliability, analytics; every part of it has to be redesigned for an AI-first world. Getting to help shape that foundation, at the scale Microsoft operates at, was simply too compelling to pass up. I am joining CoreAI at a moment where the questions are bigger than the answers, and that is exactly the kind of environment I want to be in. The opportunity to help build the data systems that power AI experiences for millions of people is one I do not take lightly. I have a lot to learn from the team I am joining, and a lot to contribute as well. The next few years are going to be a steep climb, and I am genuinely looking forward to every part of it. Looking forward to connecting with the amazing data and AI community across Microsoft and beyond. #NewToMicrosoft #MicrosoftLife #TechCareers #NextChapter
