Every day...... thousands of job seekers spend hours tailoring resumes, writing cover letters, and applying for opportunities in the hope of changing their lives. Then they encounter something deeply troubling: ❌Fake job postings ❌"Comment INTERESTED" engagement traps ❌Jobs posted only to collect data or boost visibility ❌Recruiters and pages exploiting desperation for clicks and reach Let's call it what it is: Exploitation. For someone who is unemployed: a job post is not content. It is hope. When people misuse that hope to increase followers, generate engagement, or create the illusion of hiring activity. They waste the time, energy, and emotions of real job seekers. LinkedIn is platform of opportunity, not a marketplace for false promises. If you post jobs, verify them. If you recruit, be transparent. If you lead, act responsibly. Job seekers deserve respect, honesty, and genuine opportunities-not engagement bait. We should continue to speak against practices that exploit job aspirants and advocate for a more ethical hiring ecosystem. I believe job seekers deserve better.
