Michael Zheng graduated from Columbia in May. 🎓 This week he beat British No. 1 Cam Norrie in a 5th set tiebreak at Wimbledon. Just four years ago, he was choosing between turning pro and playing college tennis. He picked college. Two NCAA singles titles and a Columbia degree later, he is into the second round of a Grand Slam main draw. The pro tour used to be framed as a countdown clock working against a college decision. Zheng is proof it can run the other way.
