Periods should never be a barrier to everyday life. Yet 68% of Canadians who menstruate say their period has prevented them from fully participating in daily activities. On Menstrual Health Day, we recognize the important work Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health is doing to help advance menstrual equity across Canada through partnerships with organizations like Moon Time Connections, supporting northern and remote Indigenous communities with access to menstrual products and education. Want to help make a difference in your community? Now through June 19, visit your local Shoppers Drug Mart and donate a menstrual health product in the Pad it Forward bin near the checkout. All products collected will support local community organizations. Together, we can help move menstrual equity forward.
