My next branding will be the Koi Fish , preparing a new branding for my Shophouses & Placemaking Business to have these Chinese Symbols into my business as more that 80% of my clients comes from the Chinese World. The truth is my biological mother which I never saw even once named me Thomas Lim before she left me at an Orphanage in Malaysia , Negri Sembilan . The Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus decided to bring me to the Convent of Holy Infant Jesus in Victoria Street to be adopted by Mr & Mrs Eric Monteiro who eventually change my name from Thomas Lim to Simon Monteiro... My biological father was a 100% a Chinese Man . Interesting I was brought up by the Eurasian open culture.. Its an amazing cross breed human I became... https://lnkd.in/gB-PHvmr The Irony of this is my foster parent told me actually I was the only boy orphan there at 6 months old taken by Mr & Mrs Monteiro. My foster mother was a dedicated woman Madam Ng Choo Neo. Suffered a massive stroke , bed ridden for 5 years when I was 8 and I look after her till her death at when I was 12 Years old . She taught me to be kind , and its was kindness that killed me in my Business. So to all , you be Kind to People not to Business. The 99% of Business People you meet do not care if you are KIND . They will eat you and even the bones that take and leave you with nothing... I learnt at 60 to only love the real people who cares for you .. The 1% of your connections .. maybe even less.. Mine is my Wife and her only.. and probably another 2 or 3 worth my time and care... Its good for all of you to take stock in your life. My advice Know Thyself first before others ..
