Shiseido Supports UN Women's "Unstereotype" Exhibition We are proud to support the "Unstereotype" exhibition organized by the UN Women. Shiseido contributed four message‑driven visuals created by its in-house creative team, each encouraging viewers to reflect on the stereotypes embedded in everyday life. Building on these contributions, UN Women invited Shiseido to create a key visual specifically for the exhibition, drawing on visual elements from the original works. All visuals were developed on a pro bono basis by Shiseido's copywriters and designers, who volunteered their expertise to help advance conversations on gender equality through creative expression. At the opening ceremony, leaders and creators committed to advancing gender equality took the stage. Naoe Yakiya, Director of the UN Women Japan Liaison Office, highlighted the significance of the exhibition, noting that "advertising and artistic expression may reinforce stereotypes — but they also have the power to break them and spark new ways of thinking." International Women's Day on March 8 is a moment for the world to reflect on gender equality. The exhibition is open at the United Nations University gallery space in Aoyama, Tokyo, through March 31.
