Today is a little different from my usual posts. My son Chase has made it to the finals of the Bahamas Junior Nationals in the Under-16 division. What most people see is the match result. What they don’t see are the early mornings, the long training sessions, the travel, the setbacks, the losses, and the discipline required to keep showing up. Watching his journey has reminded me that success is rarely about talent alone. It is about consistency. It is about showing up when nobody is watching. It is about getting back up after disappointment and trying again. I’ve watched him make sacrifices over the years in pursuit of a goal he set for himself. Tomorrow is another match. Whatever the outcome, I could not be prouder of the effort, commitment, and character he has shown along the way. #Bahamasjunior #thelefty #proudmama
