Today, we had the privilege of hosting a Technical Workshop on Eco-Friendly Earthquake Recovery and Heritage Conservation in Inle Lake.With compelling presentations from Daw Chaw Kalyar (Architect) and U Min Saw (Structural Engineer), we explored innovative, earthquake-resilient shelter and eco-sanitation designs tailored for the fragile Inle ecosystem. The discussions reinforced a shared understanding: rebuilding must be resilient, sustainable, and respectful of Inle’s unique ecology and cultural heritage. The workshop marks a milestone in aligning technical vision and local wisdom, to build back  Inle Lake better.
