Last month another foreign takeover in Belgian second devision football has been accomplished. American investor John Textor acquires a majority stake in RWDM Molenbeek alongside Thierry Dailly, who remains president of the 1B club. Textor is also one of the current co-shareholders of Crystal Palace, Christian Benteke's Premier League club. As result of the takeover, 7/8 clubs in the 1B proleague are now foreign-owned. #football #1Bproleague #SHIFT
