The 1963 289 Cobra Le Mans Roadster CSX2155. “Built in late 1963 to FIA specifications, CSX2155 has the larger front fender vents, the characteristic short, bottom-hinged trunk lid, and an unusual dash, probably fitted while it was in England. The six minor instruments - water temperature, oil pressure, ammeter, oil temperature, fuel pressure and fuel level - are mounted on a canted rectangular pad standing proud to the normal dashboard. On the right stands a Shelby American Cobra name plate. The vestigial speedometer was fitted only to comply with the Le Mans rules and still reads almost zero.” Frank Barrett - Shelby Cars in Detail. This Cobra was restored by Bill Murray and is on display at the Shelby American Collection in Colorado.
