“At the end of the day I’m a human being” . This women’s history month, we are spotlighting just a few amazing women. . Anastasia Le is a radio presenter for Joy (94.9) radio show, Trans POV. She is a Vietnamese immigrant who identifies as a transwoman and is an advocate for human rights and does a lot of work with the LGBTQIA+ community after experiencing shame in Vietnam and discrimination in Australia. . Whilst she feels that progress is occurring, she still faces discrimination - “It feels like we take one step forward, and two steps back”.
