🥳 After 18 months of growth, learning, and incredible experiences with the DHL GROW Graduate Program, I'm excited to share my next step: I'm taking on a new role as Technical Product Owner for the IoT Center of Excellence at DHL. 🚀 This program has been transformative, taking me across divisions, continents, and into the heart of what makes DHL a leader in logistics innovation. Here are my top three takeaways: 🏭 Seeing operations at scale - Visiting DHL sorting centers and hubs in person gave me a profound appreciation for the complexity and precision of our operations. Witnessing the sheer scale of what happens behind the scenes – and the people who make it all work seamlessly – was eye-opening. ✈️ International experience in Chicago - Spending three months as an Innovation Specialist trainee at the DHL CSI Chicago Innovation Center was a highlight of my journey. Working hands-on with internal and external stakeholders, I gained invaluable insights into how innovation happens at the intersection of technology and logistics. Thank you to Cedric Grosch, Christopher Fuss, and the entire SmartSolutions IoT team for an unforgettable learning experience. 🤖 AI and robotics transforming logistics - Attending industry conferences and seeing firsthand how AI and robotics are reshaping our industry reinforced my passion for technology-driven solutions. These experiences shaped my perspective on where logistics is headed. Throughout this program, I rotated through diverse roles: starting with DHL eCommerce Analytics, moving to DHL Supply Chain and developing Generative AI applications, and my international phase in the DHL Americas Innovation Center, Chicago with DHL CSI. Each rotation pushed me to grow and adapt in new ways. I'm deeply grateful to Dagmar Joswig for her unwavering support and mentorship throughout this journey. Thank you to Meltem Sevgi McNicholl and Thomas Martin for guiding me through my local rotations, and to all my colleagues around the world who made me feel welcome no matter where I was. Now, I'm thrilled to take on this new challenge working cross-divisionally to bridge AI and IoT. This role allows me to stay close to the technology and AI applications I'm passionate about while exploring new domains and expanding my impact across the organization.
