Michael Sharkey, Founder and CEO of Shark Byte Systems, Inc., was featured as February’s Executive of the Month in an article entitled, “Shark Byte Systems leverages AI technology to maximize efficiency, revenues in the parking industry.” The article is an interview between New York Real Estate Journal and Sharkey, in which Sharkey shares what trends are affecting the parking industry, how AI and machine learning will impact the industry, and challenges for those who own parking facilities. The piece also highlights Shark Byte System’s GarageNet Video Analytics, a “cutting-edge video-based SaaS solution built on AI and ML to identify every vehicle that enters/exits a parking facility.” Sharkey goes on to mention how the pandemic has affected business, sharing that he was “able to pivot and focus on providing the solutions [his] customers need during the pandemic and will continue to do the same post-COVID.” Sharkey also shares that Shark Byte Systems is looking to expand their frictionless, ticketless, and touchless offerings for the post-COVID future.
