The College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG), batch of 1966 celebrated its Diamond Jubilee last week. My senior, Indira Premkumar, one of the pioneering Indian women in engineering, whom I featured in Roots And Wings, was the only woman survivor to attend. Sadly, we lost both K.S. Babai and Prabha. My heart melted when I heard her sing “ Neerarum kadaludutha Nila madandhaikku Ezhilozhugum,” a Thamizh Thaai Vaazhthu, just as if she used to sing when she was in college! 🙇♀️ 🙌 ❤️ #cegshines
