Shannon, why would I pay for your personal branding services when I can just use Claude? A prospect asked me that last week. Fair question. My first thought? - You're not posting on LinkedIn now. - You've never posted consistently. - You're not using Claude today. ... so Claude isn't really the alternative. That's the irony here. The first thing I asked was: "What's the goal?" Authority and sales. Okay. Then let's talk about the actual job. Because the job isn't "writing silly little posts." - The job is building trust. - The job is becoming known for something. - The job is creating visibility for the right people to remember you. Content is only one piece of that. - You optimize your profile. - You define your positioning. - You write for a specific audience. - You create conversations in your DMs. Someone engages with a post. Views your profile. Accepts a connection request. A conversation starts. Weeks later, it could be an opportunity for you. That's the ecosystem. So yes, Claude can help you write a post. But it can't: - Make you commit to showing up. - Figure out what you're trying to be known for. - Build a strategy around your goals. - Be accountable for your consistency. People aren't struggling because of a "tool." They struggle because they start and stop every three weeks. These people treat visibility like a task they "should" do. They think they "NEED" to have a presence. They "NEED" to post. That's why it never lasts. It's not a need. It's a want. The people who succeed here aren't building a presence because they need one. They're building an asset that compounds while they're working. Simple. So if you can't commit to building that yourself, find someone who can. The next day we booked our strategy call. ๐ค
