🌱French President Emmanuel Macron laid the foundation stone of the Institut Robert-Debré du Cerveau de l’Enfant on June 10. https://lnkd.in/gzHcwtbp The ceremony took place at Robert-Debré University Hospital in Paris. This marks the start of construction for France's first hospital-university institute focused on child neurodevelopment. Five partners are building it together: ▪ Greater Paris University Hospitals - AP-HP — France's largest hospital network ▪ INSERM — the national health research institute ▪ Université Paris Cité — bringing academic strength ▪ Institut Pasteur — world-class biomedical research ▪ 原子力・ 代替エネルギー庁— cutting-edge science and technology The institute's principle is clear: catch vulnerabilities early, and support becomes far more effective. What's coming in 2028: → A 14,000 m² facility at Robert-Debré Hospital → Research labs, clinical services, and family spaces — all under one roof → A design built around children, not around hospital routines. The ceremony united families, patient associations, and the executive leadership of the five founding institutions.
