🤝 Unitree Robotics and 香港大学 (HKU) have officially signed a strategic #cooperation agreement and inaugurated the Joint Laboratory for Embodied Intelligence in #Shanghai. This collaboration brings together HKU Shanghai Intelligent Computing Research Center and Unitree's cutting-edge robotics platforms to advance foundational research in embodied #AI. 🔍 What they'll focus on: Next-generation white-box neural network architectures World models and core technologies for general-purpose robots Real-world validation across industrial inspection, service companionship, and more 🛠 How it works: Unitree contributes robot hardware and motion control platforms, creating a physical environment for algorithm testing. HKU's institute drives innovation in embodied AI algorithms and system architecture, embedding intelligence into hardware. Together, they aim to build a seamless pipeline from fundamental research to application—accelerating breakthroughs in environment perception, real-time decision-making, and embodied intelligence deployment.
