❗️Deputies Familiarize Themselves with Reforms in Road Safety and Public Security Systems Visit to Key Facilities 🏛 Deputies of the Tashkent City and District Kengashes (Councils) of People's Deputies, along with staff from the Secretariat of the Tashkent City Kengash, organized a visit to several facilities within the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs (MDIA). The purpose of the visit was to study the ongoing initiatives aimed at ensuring public safety, preventing offenses, and improving road safety in Tashkent. First Stop: Unified Operations Control Center 📍 The deputies first visited the Unified Operations Control Center of the Tashkent City MDIA. They familiarized themselves with the center's activities, management systems built on modern digital technologies, and capabilities aimed at ensuring security across the capital. The deputies received detailed information on: The unified dispatch system. Online monitoring of situations via video surveillance cameras. Coordinating the activities of emergency services. Mechanisms for rapid response to emergencies. 💬 During the assessment, deputies raised several questions regarding: Ensuring citizen safety in public places, streets, parks, and during mass public events. The effectiveness of community prevention inspectors working with residents. Maintaining an objective approach to citizens' appeals, with a special focus on practices involving children, women, and the elderly. The role of video surveillance systems in crime prevention. Officials provided comprehensive answers and detailed information on all these matters. Second Stop: Traffic Safety Department (TSD) 📍 Next, the deputies visited the new building of the Traffic Patrol Service Brigade under the Tashkent City MDIA Traffic Safety Department. Here, they took a close look at: Modern working conditions created for staff. Service vehicles and specialized technical equipment. The operations of the Unified Traffic Safety Management Center. Capabilities for monitoring and managing road traffic. They also toured an internal museum that reflects the history of the Traffic Patrol Service, where they were briefed on the reforms implemented and the results achieved in the system. 🛣 During this segment, deputies raised questions regarding: Regulating vehicle and pedestrian traffic on capital streets. Reducing and preventing pedestrian-related traffic accidents. The current state of road infrastructure. Detecting and preventing traffic violations. Measures being taken to drastically reduce fatal traffic accidents. Final Stop 📍 The final destination of the visit was the Administrative Practice Center of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs Traffic Safety Department.
