As a partner, we have access to many OEMs and other providers. During the week, I read Dragos' OT Cybersecurity report for 2023. Some of the key highlights in that are : - There are currently around ten active threat groups. - 80% of vulnerabilities lie deep inside the ICS network. - 16% of advisories were network-exploitable and perimeter-facing. - The Ransomware attacks in OT increased by 50% over the last year. - 70% of all ransomware attacks targeted 638 manufacturing entities in 33 unique sectors. - LockBit was the most prevalent ransomware in OT, accounting for 25% of all ransomware variants. All credits for these stats should go to the Dragos team. I have just paraphrased/summarized some of their key metrics. Don't want to claim any credit for this. These generated enough interest in me, and I also completed their partner course to learn their platform and offerings. Among some of the best in the "Neighborhood Keeper," - This is an optional opt-in service where you can keep the OT community informed on their platform about some of the existing threats you see. Obviously this will be all anonymized sharing of data/metrics. Thanks, Robert M. Lee, for building this great company and offering. We all have to collectively keep our critical infrastructure safe. #dragos #accenturesecurity
