Dear Mr. Bastien I must express my disappointment at your continued practice of deleting comments that raise legitimate questions and criticism. If you are unable or unwilling to respond to professional scrutiny, removing comments only reinforces the perception that there are no credible answers to the concerns being raised. Such actions do not go unnoticed by the professional LinkedIn community. Instead of engaging in open and transparent dialogue, you appear more focused on promoting a growth narrative that many industry professionals find increasingly difficult to reconcile with actual market developments. The recent loss of Best Western Rawalpindi, which has moved to a much smaller operator, Destination Hotels, is yet another example that raises serious questions about the sustainability of the narrative being promoted. What is equally noteworthy is that many respected members of your senior leadership team including Mr. Haseeb Gardezi, Mr. Azam Jamil, Mr. Asif Raza, Mr. Akhtar Bawany, Ms. Tehzeeb Fatima, Mr. Waqar, and even the PSL CFO have never publicly endorsed these claims. As experienced professionals, they understand the difference between genuine business growth and carefully crafted perception management. It is therefore surprising that you continue to promote a narrative that appears increasingly disconnected from market realities. Unfortunately, the continued decline in properties and partnerships seems to tell a different story. Deleting comments may remove them from a post, but it does not address the underlying questions. I will continue to raise concerns and challenge what I believe to be misleading narratives. My intention is not personal rather it is to encourage transparency, accountability, and honest discussion within the industry. Perhaps these comments will serve as a wake-up call to those who have a responsibility to evaluate the actual performance and direction of the organization.
