#SGE is ready to deliver 3 GW of clean power through 10 #BWRX300 reactors in #Hungary as part of a U.S.–Polish–Hungarian partnership on #SMRs. That was the key message delivered by Robert Rudich, SGE’s Chief Business Development Officer, at the #BESTalks Energy and Security Talks in #Budapest. Speaking during the panel “Nuclear Energy: New Roles, New Potential, New Reality of Energy Needs – Regulatory Challenges and Industry Innovation,” Robert outlined how Hungary could become an important part of Europe’s emerging new nuclear market. With GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy proven and commercially ready BWRX-300 technology, already under construction in Canada, SGE can support the rapid deployment of affordable and reliable power in Hungary. As Robert also underlined during the panel, close cooperation between national regulators will be essential to accelerate licensing, avoid unnecessary duplication and turn this opportunity into a deliverable project. The technology is ready, the industrial capabilities are in place, and the international partnership is taking shape. With the right regulatory framework, Hungary can be among the first European countries to deploy SMRs at scale. #LetsBuildNewNuclear
