We are proud to share that the U.S. Department of State has recognized SGE’s role in advancing the deployment of the #BWRX300 SMRs across #Europe, alongside our partners GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy and Samsung C&T Corporation. Today, on the margins of the NATO Summit in Ankara, the United States, Japan and the Republic of Korea signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to support trilateral cooperation on accelerating #SMR deployments in third countries, including in Europe. The statement issued following the signing refers to SGE’s work with partners to advance the deployment of the BWRX-300 SMRs across Europe: “The United States is also pleased to announce an industry initiative agreed upon among GE Vernova, Hitachi, Samsung C&T, and #SGE to advance deployment of the BWRX-300 SMR across Europe. This initiative will help achieve the ambitions set forth in the memorandum signed today and deepen government-industry partnerships to strengthen global energy security.” We are honored to be building Europe’s energy future by bringing BWRX-300 technology to the region.
