Accelerating innovation and strengthening global pharmaceutical supply chain resilience 💫 We’re proud to announce the official inauguration of our new pharmaceutical glass tubing facility in Telangana, India, developed in partnership with Corning Incorporated. This site marks a major milestone in SGD Pharma’s global growth strategy, expanding our industrial footprint to better serve the world’s healthcare needs. 🔬 Industrial capacity supporting global health The facility will produce up to 13,000 tons of Type I borosilicate glass tubing annually, the equivalent of 2.2 billion injectable vials, critical for vaccines, biologics, diagnostics, and direct injection systems. 🤝 Co-located expertise under one roof This project brings together the unique strengths of two industry leaders: Corning’s innovative Velocity® Vial technology, enhancing vial performance and safety, SGD Pharma’s long-standing expertise in converting glass tubing into high-quality injectable vials.
